Suet fat balls, blocks and cakes

Suet balls and blocks provide a quick and convenient way to offer a high energy treat to wild birds. Great value, easy-to-handle, low mess and energy rich, these fatty treats are a popular choice.

Fat balls vs blocks

Both suet blocks and balls combine fat with seeds and cereals to provide a balanced source of nutrition for wild birds. They stay soft through winter, don't melt in summer, and remain moist and water repellent all year round.

Fat balls provide an easily digestible food source best served in a fat ball feeder.

Fat blocks and cakes are square shaped and best served in suet block cages. Alternatively break into chunks and mix with other feeds on a bird table.

Choose bird suet mixed with seeds, berries or mealworms to attract an even wider range of species to your feeders.
